The KTM 390 based bikes are the universal answer. You can find one to fit almost any use case and they are just generally fantastic bikes. My first was a svartpilen 401 and I honestly wish I had not sold it..

It’s almost like the trend towards zero customer support at companies and replacing level 1 with useless robots is actually a terrible thing and the only benefit is it’s a cost savings for the company.

So this isn’t the first time I have seen something like this. It sounds like vw had some sort of process to enable this and start tracking and something went wrong.

The t7 is all it’s cracked up to be as long as you understand what it is as well as what it isn’t. No cruise option, basic abs, cable throttle… a simple bike that’s probably more capable than most riders (myself definitely included)

A series hybrid might lose efficiency but a parallel drivetrain is fairly inefficient as well because suddenly you need a multi speed gearbox and you are running the engine very dynamically which decreases efficiency.
