@Oh no! It's wojo! Bitch. Moan. Repeat.: Or, not. I mean maybe it is, but compared to a '76 Jeep CJ-7? Or a short bed, regular cab F-150? I've actually had the displeasure to have to drive an Avalanche. It was about as good in the mud as a minivan.

Its gotta' be the Porsche. Ford at least got away with putting a force-fed 2.3L in the Mustang (pretty radical stuff right there), and that's something. Right?

@jamiesahn: Nah, you just gotta know where to look. Within fifteen miles I know of no less then two dozen Tempo/Topaz sedans. When one of them hits the skids I know, and I was actually able to give a '88 GL Sedan a second life. Its the only T/T to be sent to a local junk yard in the past three years.

@MarauderMan: There is hope yet. I remember reading how Ford was gonna kill the Panthers off in the Bill Ford era. Still hasn't happened.

Ah the Grand Marquis. The last of the real V8, rear-drive American full sizers. Think about it. Its the only RWD sedan that has eight cylinders not for speed or performance, but just because, well. Why would you have anything less then a V8?

If Camaro was Tempo, and Firebird the Topaz, I'd be in heaven.

@Elhigh: The Man with the Tractor in his Display Picture, has spoken.

@HiramJahoovafat: Difference: Ford actually built it, GM just said "Hey, look what we can do. Build it? What? Fuck no, that's expensive! What do you want us to do, go into bankruptcy?"

@B16CXHatch: There are two kinds of truck buyers in this world.

@bzr: We have a winner.

There can be only one: Ford Tempo.

The Raptor being compared to a Hummer anything is just insulting.

@FromaBuick6: By the time the Cruze, new Aveo, and Volt go on sale Honda and Ford are gonna already be making new models.

On a '76 Jeep CJ-7 with no power steering, no power brakes, no nuthin'

This seems too eerily similar to the hacking tool from BioShock 2. I mean, people are now able to bypass security systems for reals?

@☠Grяrяrяrяrя, now with twice the bacon!: Ah you gotta forgive Ford. The Tempo was their first foray into what is essentially, the first modern American car. For example, it was Ford's first car equipped with fully independent suspension. First is not synonymous with best, but all things considered, the Tempo's system

@☠Grяrяrяrяrя, now with twice the bacon!: Damn. Sounds kinda like my situation. After I fixed every, single, common problem known to Tempos, its been flawlessly reliable. I've only had mine for four years, but after a year or so of nonstop repairs, its been nothing but good to me.

@RolloGrande: No matter how much they love you, they will eventually hate you.

Probably the big bad trucks of the pre-Triton era. Gigantic motors, mile long hoods, and most of all: no DVD players!
