@☠Grяrяrяrяrя, now with twice the bacon!: Do I dare ask what its fate was? That is one good looking Topaz. The color, the TRX-wheels, all works great. Plus knowing the Mazda-tuned MTX-III five speed resides in it makes it all the more desirable.

Looks like a Coho Salmon after a seal got to it.

So Toyota's the new Ford, and the Prius is the new Pinto?

Volvo 960: Change, you can believe in.

@MushyHeirloom: That's her, before she changed hands I think.

@Mr.choppers - Delenda Carthago Est: Little known fact, the Ford Topaz (and sister car, the Ford Ghia (which was just a Tempo)) was better equipped then the American and Canadian market cars.

@MushyHeirloom: Ah man, have you met Turbo Tempo yet? 325 up-Tempo ponies at the dyno, courtesy of a force-fed 2.3 OHC four banger. Its sitting in a stripped '87 two door. Originally a track car, its changed hands from one TTCCNA member to another and supposedly is gonna hit the streets to tear up some pavement at the

@RaptorConner: So you've got an F-150? Hows that treating ya? I've got a 1990 F-150, regular cab/short bed. Glossy black, with a billit grill and custom mags riding on Mickey Thompson mudslingers. Its got the 351/4spd. combo can pull off four wheel burnouts. Makes a nice note with the Flowmaster side pipes.

@500wishes: I would be a fool if I didn't. :) Heart click for you, friend.

@DrLemming: Are we talking about the 1988 or 1992 restyle? I think the 1988's, while a little Taurus-y were pretty handsome machines. With their tri-bar chrome grill and elegant, smooth lines (but not boxy, like most competitors).

@eggwich mcsandwich: Ah the Ford Premium Sound System. It was the top of the line stereo package which included:

@MushyHeirloom: The trick for the Tempo is gunning it 3-5 seconds before you intend to make the move. This requires extensive planning with accurate positioning and a constant eye on the car in front of you as well as the oncoming traffic lane.

Now this is just getting ridiculous. Before ya know it nobody is gonna know how to drive!

@MushyHeirloom: I've also got an ashtray from a Tempo on my desk. ;) And the rear lower control arm as a coat rack.

@jamiesahn: I'm not sure. But by the end of their production run, Ford had sold over three million of 'em. In their first year on sale alone, over half a million were sold. To put that into perspective, Ford consider Fusion selling 190,000 or so a good year. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

@Novaload: Meguiar's Tech Protect. Its designed for interior plastics but works just as well on lights. Gives them sort of a polished look.

@JC Whitless: My genius plan is to save up my pennies and buy up as many Ford Tempos as I can before Top Gear USA airs.
