I love Toyota reps. They're like some other new and wonderful species. A species that specializes in lies and deceit, but not calling it a lie.

Jalopnik called it first: Toyota's second attempt at fixing the problem, didn't really fix the problem.

Who wants to bet that this doesn't actually fix the problem?

Woah. There's actually an early model, sealed-beam-sporting Cimarron in the local yard here. You can buy it now for $500!

@Ralph Wiley Is Poised: I'd bring that New England exclusive sub-model for the Tempo GL, called the 'Premier'. Including faux wire spoke wheels, a vinyl roof, and it deleted the 'GL' badges.

There can be only one: TOPAZ.

@Shtig: I hear ya'. I'm awesome at parallel parking. Well, I guess who wouldn't be awesome at it if they had a Ford Tempo.

This is one of the few, if only, instances where modern day Government Motors has the upper hand.

Impressive news. Now how long do I have to wait before a reincarnated Tempo Diesel?

Why is there a Honda Civic here? King Cobra beats VTEC, every time.

Congratulations Ford (aka. Big One Detroit Automaker), and Alan.

Super High all the way. I'm glad its the '89 and not the next generation model over.

Ah come on, no 50s Mopars?

Hows about that Super Straight Eight Ford Tempo? No? I guess I could settle for some vintage SHO goodness.

@MushyHeirloom: Even as bad as the Versailles was, is it even comparable to the Compass? The Cimarron? At least the Versailles was still a traditional American luxury car.

Its hard to blame the GTO as the origin of evil, but I suppose it is one of (if not the) earliest examples.

Imagine what this creature, this being has seen. Like a battle scarred warrior from a long fallen nation, it still lives on.

Gotta' love those Chevy's. I've been loaning out my '94 K-2500 to friends, family and just recently I got a call asking for a ride home because the damn thing over-heated at 10*F.
