I'm leaving Jalopnik until this whole, over-played deal blows over.

Needs moar RSC.

Ah man, I just ordered one. This is a historic day, because prior to this date, I only used eBay for parts for my old Ford Tempo. Everything from headlamps to rear quarter window glass, eBay has been a lifesaver more then once.

The good old Crown Victoria.

What the fuck is wrong with the people behind GM?

Yes! Jackie Stewart evaluates Ford Tempo; a real driver's car.

I like the MKZ. In looks anyway. I think it looks better then the fat ass MKS and the flat out ridiculous CTS.

@eggwich for amnesty: I know this because gramps never got rid of anything he owned. When the old truck had nothing more to give he just rolled it out back on his ranch, where it still sits today with fried piston rings and locked up brakes. Oh and major rust problem. It's company is about half a dozen other Ford

I'm sort of proud-ish that, being from the Great State of Sarah Palin, we aren't spending nearly as much as some of the other states.

@FP - in black for the Jezebel Nine: Yes indeed. Possibly the only garage posted in this QOTD made of logs? My grandfather made it by hand in the late 50s as a place to work on his '54 F-Series. Over 50 years later, a few generations down the line, its now the Tempo's home for when it needs new control arms or oil

What the fuck. That video had the power to completely change my opinion on cash for clunkers. I wasn't too worried honestly, because I knew no Ford Tempo except the shitty 1992-1994 four doors equipped with the gutless Vulcan 3.0L from the Taurus and the 3spd. ATX w/o overdrive would qualify.

How is it that the Fiesta looks good, but the 'Agile' looks like a Chevy version of a Dodge Caliber?

2002 Chevy Silverado 1500. Cheap sauce truck on its second transmission. Before that, she had an '04 Chevy Venture which was terrible as well. Before that... 2001 Dodge Caravan (good), 1998 Caravan (good), and a 1991 Isuzu Trooper (great).

In the second picture, I spy a second generation (1988-1991) non-GLS Ford Tempo four door.
