Escalade?

The only Pontiac dealership in my town closed its doors a couple months back. As did the other GM dealer. Now I've gotta drive over 150 miles to get a G8?

Darn. This thing looked like the only Toyota that had any interesting merits. Guess ya' can't judge a book by its cover.

@FromaBuick6: So now what fills the void left by The Heartbeat of America, and baseball?

You say 'retired police cars' like its a bad thing. I am pretty envious of this guy from school who's got a ex-squad car Crown Victoria.

1994: It is hard for me to choose a specific year, to be honest. I suppose the early 1990s in general would be a more appropriate term, but because the QOTD requires a specific year/date, I'll go with '94.

@pauljones: Is it wrong I find the prospect of owning the crack laden former police Crown Victoria and free candy filled panel van more exciting then the Tesla itself?

Ford Tempo. Its gotta be. I'm picking up an Oxford White 1984 GL two door next week for the sum of $500. That leaves me $1,500 in the green to fix whatever goes wrong in the future.

Impala is tough to beat, but I'm thinking another vehicle in need of a total redesign would be the Ford Focus. Come on Ford, in 1988 you offered a car the size of a Focus, but with all wheel drive and higher fuel economy figures.

I can't think of anything witty or Ford Tempo related to say here. All my brain blood went to my boner.

This doesn't seem like a good idea.

CONAN I LOVE YOU!

Step 1. Lock keys in car, while car is running.

I like to rock to some 1980s stuff for the Tempo. It just feels right to be jammin' out to all that funky 80s music in a funky 80s car.

1,000 units omg that is sooo much.

I'd have any minivan or wagon over that thing. Ford Escort Wagon and Chevy Venture minivan included.

The man must be some sort of business mastermind..r

This would make a little more sense if they based "better car" on actual facts and specifications. The Taurus is the most powerful family sedan right? Excluding the expensive European competition that is. It would at the very least get people actually doing research on cars, and realizing where Ford's products stand

Do not do it. It will make the Raptor just another truck. Its not just another truck. Its a giant "Fuck You" to the middle aged women who drive their crew cab rigs to Stop & Shop.

19 points for the man with the Tempo. I think I should have gotten another 5 points for having seat belts that actually buckle you in by themselves.
