@FurtiveParsnip: Even if it was available Stateside, soccer moms and NASCAR dads would make sure it was a sales flop by continuing to buy Tahoe's and Explorers.

@SlowMo: That would be greatly appreciated. I predict that it will cost ten fold the Tempo's Kelley Blue Book value to bring it over there just for a quick (or more likely, not-so-quick) spin around the 'Ring and a speedometer topping run on the Autobahn. Even though the speedo tops at 83MPH...

OnStar saddens me. It reminds me that with every generation, children are growing weaker and parents lives are being made easier. Whats next, a button that sends in an emergency squad to change your child's diaper?

@FromaBuick6: I want to ship my Ford Tempo to Germany just to top the speedometer legally on the Autobahn AND drive the Nurburgring, just to get a time. It will be hilarious and awesome at the same time.

@SinisterSaracen: I am aware of all these facts. Just strange. Think about it, a Cadillac handles better and is faster then a Camaro. Cadillac. The brand that gave us the wonderful early 90s Brougham that my cousin drives around, possibly the only car slower then a '89 Ford Tempo.

@Murilee Martin: But how much is interchangeable between the MGB GT and the Midget? Besides, without even looking at the location of the MGB I already know its probably over 3,000 miles away. ;)

@rlj676-Carbon Footprint Size - Clownshoe: Yeah I'm not saying I think the Chevy looks are any worse or better then Fords, Dodges, et cetera. All trucks have grown larger and flashier, and I honestly can't say one is more guilty then the next. I've just always liked the General's truck designs until the GMT900. I

The CTS-V is still faster? Woah.

@rlj676-Carbon Footprint Size - Clownshoe: To each his own, and looks are entirely opinion. I personally have a 1994 Chevy Cheyenne K2500, and my ma has a 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500. I've seen the GMT900's around I just don't like them in appearance. Not that this is a fault of Chevy alone, I think a lot of new trucks

Who cares about muscle car fuel economy? Who BUYS a Camaro or Mustang with fuel economy in mind?

Very impressive, but isn't that slower then the top-o'-the-line Mustang? Actually 4.7 seems average these days. Still, when the car I'm driving "flies" from 0-60 in 10.9 seconds..

I hope they do some revisions to that front fascia area. I've always loved Chevy truck designs, but the current one is just not.. Chevy. I miss that big chrome split grill with the dual stacked headlamps of the GMT400 era.

I'm already planning on making the mistake of buying a British Leyland product, and I just can't buy two..

I'm liking the '65. My mom's first car was a circa 1965 Impala, and it was only a few years ago that it was finally crushed. Not that it ran, as it sat a ways in the woods for a couple decades.

I voted for the Tempo. I have my reasons.
