I can't disagree more. I am sorry, I enjoy unreliability. Thats right. I like it when the old Ford Tempo just sits their and groans in the wee hours of the morning, at -34*F. I enjoy rolling her into the barn and then spending many hours and Rockstar energy drinks trying to solve the problem.

Solute. To the bravest (or most idiotic, or most bad-ass) 13-year-old ever.

Ford Tempo offered a similar color during its second generation run. It wasn't very popular though. Shit Brown Metallic C/C with Old Piss Stained interior just didn't catch on.

They couldn't leave well enough alone. They stole our passenger car sales, our truck sales, our minivan sales. Now in the last area where American automakers still rule (the commercial vehicle market), they are coming for that too.

@Ford Tempo Fanatic: Woops. I forgot my Yamaha outboard motors, each of which make 3HP. Sorry folks.

I dunno about appliances, but I only have two cars at the moment. So.

@Schm-san, SHO-time, fo-SHO.: Good times, good times. Actually one night out on the beach with a fire and some buddies, after about a twelve pack of Foster's I was apparently quietly asking people "You know whats awesome??" and then shouting at the top of my lungs: "TEMPOS!"

That car is a lot more bad-ass then Obama's Cadillac. That is all.

Woah. Thats almost cool. Almost.

@RCN8: Pretty much sums up the Tempos. I personally have gotten anywhere from 19 to 34 miles to the gallon. Lowest, 19, was when I topped the speedometer three times in one week. I also had high resistance studded winter tires on. The fuel economy varies extensively depending on driving conditions and how hard I push

Sort of a no-brainer. We bitch and moan about the pretty Australian Fords, but look at the best selling sedans over here. The Toyota Camry and Chevy Impala. We have only ourselves to blame.

@clashtastic: Not all Topaz or Tempo were gold. It was a color yeah, but there were dozens and dozens of interior and exterior colors available throughout production. I personally have a Graphite Gray Metallic exterior with the medium gray interior, but a friend of mine has a third generation Topaz GS Sedan in Cabaret

@jduffy13: I thought they (and my Tempo's) breaks were bad. Until my mom got a 2002 Chevy Silverado.

@JeepyJayhawk: One visit to the YouTube and you will find many a hooned Tempo. I'm all for hoonage, but I do have a gripe with people who abuse their Tempo or Topaz then say it was a bad car. Well yeah its going to break down after a day of following Jeep Wranglers around or getting insane air on railroad track

@MaxSmart32: I believe that was the Vulcan.

I am disgusted.
