No one’s brought it up but this is an adaptation of Laird Barron’s short story -30-. He’s one of the best horror writers working today, and I’ve been stoked for this since I first heard about it nearly a year ago. Reviews seem mixed but I kind of expected that.

If you’re into 50s & 60s R&B, Ruth Brown (who played Motormouth Mabel in the movie) did some really fun songs and had a fabulous voice.

You know, it’s funny, I went to Paisley Park a couple of weeks ago and all I could smell was lavender.

it’s just a picture of legs that cuts to an image of a man standing in a burning house and he has a goat head and his eyes are the black of the void and then it cuts back to an image of legs with paint on them and then it’s the goat headed man and he’s closer to the foreground and I can smell sulfur and then it cuts…

so thats what a seventh degree burn looks like...
