It's this beautiful sunny scene, and then you see him in the background. He just keeps getting closer and closer until AACK! God, so scary.

I take it you've seen the movie Zodiac, too? *Shudder* I can't listen to Hurdy Gurdy Man by Donovan without being creeped out.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one! I'd say stay away from the afformentioned ex, but he was dynamite in the sack. C'est la vie.
Thick, muscular wrists. I dated a horrible guy years ago who was a maniac drummer. Even though he was super pudgy he had these fabulously toned wrists and forearms. Every so often if I was wearing a skirt and he was driving, he'd just reach over and....ungh. Terrible guy, really shit boyfriend, but I look back fondly…
Big noses! What is it with big noses? I love a man with prominent nose. Adrien Brody could get it.
My husband and I are usually pawing through the dollar books on Sunday afternoons. Small internet world! :D
Which location do you frequent? I'm at the one in Quincy about once a week.
That may well have been his store! I freakin' love Jimmy. He's the one that runs the BCC.
I think there is a place called Jerry's in Beverly. That is one place I've never been as I don't find myself on the North Shore often, but it's maybe worth a shot.
Yes! Comic-aze is the one I was thinking of. Sorry for getting the two confused. Union and Davis are on the other side of town for me. :)
I'm not sure, I moved to Boston in 2006 and didn't start frequenting comic shops until '07 or so. Jim Talbot is one of the owners of Bedrock, and I know he's been in the biz for quite some.
Ah, ok! If it's trades you're looking for, I would actually recommend New England Comics as they TONS of them at all times. When I said "old comics" at Bedrock, I meant like crumbling bronze and silver age books for 50 cents. :D That's the stuff that the Mr. and I go for.
I can't speak to the quality of Hub Comics (the one in Davis), but I've heard good things. Bedrock is out in Framingham on Route 9 (read: parking!), and is great if you like old comics rather than new releases. One of the owners runs the Boston Comic-Con and is just a peach.
Boston comic lovers, please don't think this guy stands for all comic shop owners in the area. This shit never would have gone down at New England Comics, Million Year Picnic, or Bedrock Comics. Period.
Surprise cheese is seriously the worst kind of cheese.
I can't fucking stand them, either. Unfortunately, I live in Boston and kind of have to keep that opinion to myself.
Whatever, Lizzy. We're all shipping the hell out of the two of you.
At first I thought your comment was unnecessarily bitchy, but then I saw her hair. She looks like Tom Cruise in the last Samurai.
All of the above, right here.
You know, I try my best to keep my consumerist tendencies at a minimum. I try not to be swayed my cheap marketing ploys, and to be aware of how advertising affects my buying habits...
