Actually, I am a rather large dick, thank you very much. Hence the problem fitting into a Miata. Small dicks is what they were designed around.

It really doesn’t, if anything, the bigger issue is that the frame of a Spitfire is TOO stiff and won’t crumple enough in a frontal collision causing big g-forces on the meatbag behind the wheel. Though really, in a collision with a modern jacked up C/SUV with wagon wheels, you are going UNDER the other car and

They need to add about 3" to the cockpit length so that I (and other tall people) can drive one without being in pain. Or at least re-arrange the rear bulkhead so that when the seat is all the way back, the seat can be reclined more than a church pew. Seats that don’t completely suck would be nice too, but that is

This, like the Cybertruck will likely never get sold in the EU since they have pedestrian safety regulations, which the US does not. I suspect China might as well but don’t know. Also no pedestrian is surviving getting hit by the Cybertruck, can’t wait for THAT lawsuit for them designing and selling something that is

The hundreds of millions of ICE cars on the road won’t just disappear.

No gas stations in 10 years? Get real

Um...I don’t think gas stations are going to disappear in 12 years. Are you serious?

It’s really hard, because every time a new model is released one of the ‘improvements’ is a slightly bigger size.  This happens until you wind up with the land yachts of the 70s.

for real, this thing is huge for a single person commuting.

If I wanted a CRV, why would I want one that’s damn near as big as a Pilot? Can’t manufacturers keep their models the same goddamn size? How hard is that? I don’t want an Accord the size of an Avalon or a Civic the size of a Camry either.

How the heck have you been to Venice 150 times? Seriously. I want your life.

I’m not hating the way that car looks...

How the heck did they get that initial photo of the car in Venice. I’ve been to Venice perhaps 150 times. I know that city inside and out and I know that spot there. Photoshopped? There is a small area on the edge of town that you can drive to. Locals need to park their cars somewhere instead of using the mainland

The irony is this is closer to the original Corvette program/spirit than anything Chevy has offered in, say, 50 years.

The Mitsuoka Rock Star: The Corvette C2 with less power, more amenities, yet probably about the same, if not better, build quality.

I love the looks of this thing but hate the price ha

I’m certainly not going to pretend that this makes a great deal of sense, but as someone who loves the C2 Corvette... I rather like this.

Is our virtually unanimous disdain for slideshows on the list?

Hi Rob. I bought a 1995 model with the 1.8 l engine and maybe 20k fewer miles with a hardtop for just over $4,000. I’m sure there are a few people here who think I paid too much, but wtg the exception of the color, I got exactly what I was looking for: a straight, solid, rust free first gen Miata with every option box
