The Plymouth Prowler had every opportunity to be amazing. It should have been a reasonably affordable parts-bin hot rod, but it was cursed with a ho-hum V6 and was almost unusable with the top up for anyone near 6 ft. tall.

I agree that the newer car was far more elegant than the one it replaced, though I still bemoan the loss of the Mazdaspeed variant. Both available generations of the Mazdaspeed 3 were fantastic.
