SCCA’s website makes it seem like there’s been nothing in Alabama since 2016.  I’ll try to keep my eyes out.  Best I’ve got in the mean time is a drag strip.  I used to race my Camaro when I was in college there.  My buddies, my girlfriend who would later become my wife, and I had a blast hanging there.  Maybe it’s

Well, yes, but I was really referring to something a bit more structured...lol

This is it. Right here. 100%.

I would really like to get into drifting, but I live in rural Alabama where there is literally nowhere to do this (legally) closer than 3 hours away.

Thank you for finding this out. It has confused the heck out of me for some time now. I’m glad I’m not the only one who has noticed/was bothered by this.

He will just find a way to somehow blame it on “unsupportive, unAmerican liberals” and get reelected anyway. Sad.

I don’t necessarily think you’re wrong. I think it’s one of the reasons cars like the K900 (which is fantastic, by the way; just sit in one) have had a hard time gaining traction here.

Seems like it was a cheap little Honda or Toyota she ended up with. It certainly wasn’t anything memorable. She wasn’t really into cars and just wanted something to get her on the road so it fit the bill.

The coolest? I think you mean the hottest. You might even say he’s (puts on sunglasses) on fire.

I had a friend and coworker that bought one of these new right after we graduated from high school in 2002. The thing was dirt cheap and he could afford it on a part-time grocery store cashier budget. He had been driving a hand-me-down-and-beaten-up Chevy Astro all through high school, so he considered it a

My first car was a ‘91 Camaro RS with an underpowered TBI 305. I seriously lusted over the LS powered 4th generation cars in high school (graduated in 2002 to give some context). I owned a ‘98 Trans Am for about a year (2013-2014) and it was a blast to drive. I never understood the mullet association with the

I think I agree here. I have a Mazdaspeed 3 that’s hilariously fun to drive, but I’m kind of bored with it. I think it’s because it’s so reliable I barely have to work on it.

‘Murica. Seriously though, more than 300 HP, a 6 speed, and t-tops? Hell, yeah! Sure the interior is cheap, but these are seriously fun.

I’m not saying you don’t make a good point about similar fuel economies (you do), but I do want to point out that the Focus is nowhere near as bad as you make it out to be. My old 2002 ZX5 would do 35 MPG on the highway easily. I can’t imagine the newer ones are worse than that. On top of that, it was a fantastic,

This comment is underrated.

Nobody hates voting against a 3rd gen more than I do but $6,000 is just too much, especially given its mileage and that it needs so many little things fixed.

Wow! All this cool truck news, surely an El Camino announcement is around the corner, right guys? Guys?

This.

Excellent point.
