As long as it’s not laughably underpowered, I think Toyota has managed to build an interesting little car here! I can see a cool hot hatch being built out of this thing should Toyota get the guts to do it.

If the issue is that he’s making money on YouTube using something that has their branding on it, then couldn’t automakers shut down literally every show online from Mighty Car Mods to Roadkill (outside of Dodge, obviously) to just about any joker with a car from Craigslist with enough followers to get paid?

I got pulled over by a state trooper while I was in college. He walked over to the car and seemed like he had forgotten what he wanted to say. He stood there without saying anything for a few seconds, looked toward his car and said, “You didn’t have your seatbelt on, did you?”

Learn to fix the thing that breaks the most on your car. It sounds simple, but if there’s one thing that goes wrong repeatedly, learn to fix that first.

I made this point on the original post. I had to buy a bypass module for mine because GM no longer makes the part.

I would LOVE to own a new Corvette, but it seems that even with all the discounts owning one new (or even a few years old) will remain to be a pipe dream for me. I could care less about the average buyer demographic, but I care a great deal about the number my bank account and teacher’s salary tells me I have to work…
