unicorns unite! (always nice to know one is not alone, hey?)

I just got my first body piercings yesterday, and I'm so excited- I love them! (My ears are pierced from when I was a kid, but that doesn't count, right?)

Now playing

That sucks, love! You're always welcome up here in Massachusetts! :D

I don't think that douche is Vergara's husband - pretty sure they are still just engaged. GIRL GET OUT NOW.

Posted a lengthy comment about this earlier, but the attention is terrible. And, I will never believe that anyone would attempt suicide over not being able to attend a concert. That is both a shallow representation of a human being and a huge contribution to the foolish assumption the depression and suicide are that

Oooh, the shirt is also available on Amazon! Time to write some user reviews!

THIS. This is fantastic!

I absolutely agree that there are other solutions which is why, as the article notes, this is intended as a last resort.

That's a fair point, although I think that children of wealthy kids are more likely to be overlooked when it comes to identifying bullies. Little Malfoy isn't a bully, he just has a strong personality.

Keep in mind that we're talking about a really local case, here. There's under 2,000 kids under 18 in Monona, and it's a small suburb of a mid-sized city with a pretty low poverty rate.

I can see the reasoning behind this, but (and correct me if I'm wrong) aren't a lot of bullies usually subject to violence at home? Isn't this going to bring the wrath of the parents down on their child? Granted, in a non-abusive situation, this might work out well, since parents certainly don't want to have to pay

I second that. Teens who are suicidal/cutters/depressed, whether "for attention" or not, need attention in the form of quiet concern and love. What they don't need is for the whole world to know about their struggle while they're in the midst of getting through it.

Whatever "the reason", it's not really the reason. I struggled with depression as a teenager (and now as an adult) manifested both in long-term cutting and a suicide attempt. Was it a cry for attention and help? Yes.

Thinking of Marilyn Manson as classic anything makes me want to move away from Planet Earth. I honestly hoped that clown would by now have been consigned to the Giant Trash Can of Forgotten Why Did We Ever Listen To That Shit Anyway Rock Star Detritus, right up there with Haysi Fantayzee, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Nine

Beards make everyone look better. EVERYONE.

Agreed. If I end up looking horribly aged I plan on being too drunk to care.

Eh, not worth it.

Thank you. I can't stand the "Ooh, what does this one mean?" conversation. I could come up with about fifteen reasons for you that may or may not be bullshit, but that make them sound more interesting—OR, I can be honest and say that I'm in love with the design and seeing it makes me happy.

Yeah I am too. What gives, largely liberal community?! You can say you prefer how a person looks without tattoos, but saying they're "trashy," or judging tattooed people as a whole is really lame.

I've tried to calculate it... I have approximately 45% of my body tattooed. I started young, because I always wanted tattoos, and quickly made friends with my local female tattoo artist, and got almost all my tattoos for free. I love them, I really do. They're really well done. But I have to agree with this comment.
