See! I knew we’d find common ground!
First, let’s stop this crap about CO2 being “emissions” like hydrocarbons and other actual pollution it is not.
Hopefully Elon realizes that as manufacturers adjust to higher CAFE that his income stream will dry up. It’s also interesting to see what factors are tied to it...
What do you mean did not know about it?
No they are not capable because being capable means being able to control what people buy.
The law does that though. It penalizes those that don’t comply. Buying the credits is simply cheaper than paying the fine.
Not really... the selling manufacturer gets to treat it like a “zero emissions” car, despite the large carbon footprint.
Selling carbon credits is a scam and it should be ended as a legally permissable practice.

Oh, its definitely the equivalent of the microwave in the break room at work. It’s an appliance that only stirs emotion in people that love for other people to know how much they care about the environment.
Neutral: I dont own one, but I would consider buying the right one. The issue with the Prius is the same one I’ve had with many of the hybrids, I despise CVTs. Also having driven a Prius, I feel its the automotive equivalent of Ramen without the flavor pack.
“Elon Musk, a human calculator specifically designed to count his chickens before they hatch and also CEO of Tesla”
Intriguing, but ultimately CP, with the body kit. For the same money, you could get two old Miatas, for fun, or a non-abused 914, as an “investment”/ classic.
If it doesn’t depreciate by 40% in the first three years, and replacement parts don’t cost three times the price of normal parts, then it’s not a luxury car.
So all the bench players are going to form their own team and try to compete for the championship? Good luck, guys.
