An alarming number of investors have been chugging the koolaid. No way Tesla’s stock should have ever sold for what it has over the past couple of years.

Drugs pump millions (billions?) of dollars into the Mexican economy. Mexico really doesn’t want to stop the cash flow. Same thing for illegal immigration. A lot of immigrants are sending a significant portion of what they earn to family who is still in Mexico. Mexico doesn’t want to stop the cash flow.

If I am not mistaken, about 250,000 RAM trucks and 225,000 Chevy trucks are built in Mexico. ....Built by people earning less than $3.00 per hour instead of US workers making $25 per hour. That is a bunch of money that is not being pumped into our economy.

Does the customer own the tooling?  or is it a generic sort of product where your company designed it and built it with their own tooling? ...and sells it to anybody that will buy it?

Some OEMs have anti-compete clauses in the contract.  You can’t sell a replacement part to anybody other than the OEM for use in dealerships.....

There has to be a potential market before the aftermarket companies will tool up and make replacement parts. It is not good business to spend $500,000 on tooling to only sell $1,000 worth of sales.

I almost bought one of those new and then again in 2010 after my ECHO got wrecked, I looked for one. It was hard to find one that had not been abused. The good ones weren’t for sale.

Long haul robots will happen.  The old guys that can stay clean enough to get/keep a CDL are getting really old.  The younger generation likes there weed too much to be truck drivers.

My bad. My 2010 Yaris has been doing so well that I have not been looking for a replacement yet. I didn’t know they got away from the center instruments.

...but the speedometer is in front of the steering wheel. Are you sure it is a Yaris?

The Yaris predecessor, the ECHO, did just fine with 106 hp also

There are lots of businesses that start small with little capital investment...lawn services and house painters for example.  start small, reinvest the profits and grow into “real” business that can hire employees.

Then those workers need to start their own companies and be rewarded for taking the risk.

Every fucking house hunting show on TV has somebody complaining about counter tops not being luxurious enough. ...even if it is a one bed room condo.

No pay is better than low pay?

Granite, quartz...whatever. I live in a 60's ranch style house that still has 60's counter tops.

It all depends on what the job is. Some jobs are only worth so much. If the price for the end item/service goes too high, people quit buying.

What do you mean? Everybody deserves affordable homes with granite counter tops.

This why we can’t have nice things....you are the reason mommy drinks.

Do it. Keep those mere peasants from driving on my roads, making me late for my polo matches..
