I don't think you ever really finish "recovering" from an eating disorder. It's there, every time you eat a slice of birthday cake, every yearly weigh-in, every swimsuit season or new pair of jeans. It's awful, because five years later, people just assume you are all better, when you are never more than a phone swipe…

The eating disorder survivor in my is kind of having a parade right now. I was anorexic because bulimia fucks up your teeth and throat. I am overweight now. They have made this just too easy, and you get to choose the disorder for people with no self control.
