Neo-Nazis tend to buy into conspiracy theories, so they probably believe in something like the WW1 stab-in-the-back myth, but applied to WW2.

I always figured it was more to differentiate them from the original Nazis, who belonged to different organizations, and had a much a stricter ethos.
