It will be interesting to see how fast it is with an operational hybrid system. I can’t see it getting near the Audis or Porsches, though.

I was speaking to Allan about the Mercedes incident, as he didn’t race at Le Mans in 1999, despite winning there in 1998.
It was classified 5th at Petit Le Mans, but would have been 3rd if it had been allowed the same SC go-arounds as the guys who were fighting for points and championships.
This basically how Allan McNish explained it to me at the London Motor Show that year.
