The 3 door trunk space is very tiny, but the short wheelbase and minimal overhangs make it easy and fun to sling around, on-road and off.

The first year and a half of production for Europe and Asia was entirely 3-door, and the first 2 generations were available here in this configuration. The first truck you couldn’t identify looks like a Stewart and Stevenson M1078 LMTV/FMTV, a military truck based on a European design, hence unlike most commercial vehicles you’re likely to see.
