Cadillac: Strength Through Joy™

I must say, Woody Harrelson is an unexpected, but most welcome, addition!

You’d need not just the nerve to say that to his face but stand up to the alt-right hordes who would be determined to make your life a living hell, doxing you and your kids, swating your house, and God knows what else until they got bored and found someone else to go after.

I was rooting for them from the beginning. Humans are overrated.

For a franchise that I have not actually seen except for parts of the 1st one, , that trailer got me ridiculously pumped up as if the thought of apes destroying us is the most welcome idea of this year.

So in other words, it’s a documentary for those of us about to re-enter The Dark Ages?

Well shoot. I am now going to spend the rest of my afternoon looking at French real estate and dreaming of buying a chateau.

Regardless of the year, be assured, it’s a bitchin’ Camaro.

Nah, Trump dystopia is the Hunger Games - flashy, televised, and helmed by rich assholes.

Isn’t “political correctness” alt-right code for simple courtesy or etiquette?

Not all Muslims believe the same thing, nor hold the same values, just like not all Christians believe the same thing, nor hold the same values. That’s true. Although that line of logic sounds a lot like that of various acquaintances of mine, who either claim they know someone who only survived because he wasn’t buckled in, or that someone they know died because he *was* bucked in; therefore no one should ever wear a seatbelt.

That can be filed under “never fasten your seat belt, better to be thrown from the vehicle” theory. Actually as a volunteer firefighter/first responder, I’ve seen the results of children and adults being thrown from vehicles. Believe me, the child in this situation used up a lifetime of good fortune in this one

The other day I accidentally forgot to buckle part of my son’s harness in his car seat before driving half a mile to his grandmother’s house, and when I discovered what I had done I wanted to kill myself. A lack of a citation to the parent/guardian here bothers me, though I guess it’s an ‘everybody gets one’

Please don’t talk like that. That’s how he talks.

Translation: I saw his black face and felt the future of the white race was in danger.
