I have some more anecdata to that effect as well. Had a Mirena for five years, got it taken out, got pregnant, got one ~8 weeks after giving birth via c-section. Even though I didn’t give birth vaginally, the insertion was WAY easier. Still uncomfortable, but not even CLOSE to the first time I had one inserted.
