Let’s be real you don’t have “30 years driving & building wreckers”. This statement “Dollies are more for AWD situations, they don’t sit well with wheels cut that far.” is demonstrably wrong and is a dead give away to people who really know how to use wreckers and dollies.

You are rather unnecessarily angry. PoorMan’sFrank is correct. Once that tow truck is out of sight they will pull over and put a dolly under that front axle and it will square right up.

I have had several Gerbers, a Sog and several models of Leatherman (2 Waves, a Surge, a Skeletal, a Juice, a Micra, and a Kick) and nothing beats a Leatherman for fit and finish. The steel and the assembly are of high quality in every Leatherman I’ve owned.

It doesn’t reduce any heat at all. The same amount of things are generating friction in neutral at rest, as in drive, at rest.

I highly suggest any of the Alox knives. I have a cadet and a farmer. You’ll love it.

There is a spelling mistake in the title. It should read “...if you...” instead or “...your...”.

This is genius. I had no idea that those red squares were for wall studs. I primarily work with metal. Carpentry is like voodoo to me.

I had my first kidney stone this summer. I’ll never drink less than 3 quarts of water a day, again.

“This is when someone suddenly grows a hideous sense of entitlement, centered around this notion that because they’re a “customer” that means they’re not just “always right,” but an actual better, superior person to the people who serve them.”

I have the Spigen version and I think that is what I am going to do. It is way too floppy.

Fair enough. I was working with a different definition of multitool.

Thrunite TN12 2014 Edition. It has 5 modes from less than one lumen to upwards of 1000, and a strobe. It will tail stand incase you need to light up a small area (like under your car in the middle of the night). It has great quality and construction for only $46. The only downside for some is the 18650 battery.

Where are you seeing two multitools? I see the CRKT Eat N Tool, which is a reusable spork, and a mini pry bar. What did I miss?

That marinade sounds fantastic. I’m going to try it out tonight.

“Helping” by supplying power to your wheels while you are being pulled by a winch works really well in dry conditions. If I am pulling you out of the mud and you do that I will end you.

I work from my bedroom at home so i purchased a GE AEL05LQ , so I wouldn’t need to run my 12k BTU unit in the living room of my apartment. I’m not sure of the efficiency but I save a ton of money over keeping my entire apartment cool during the hottest parts of the day. It is small and lightweight, which is important

I’d like to put in a vote for this as well. I could put together the hardware with hard drives in it but how do I make it visible to the rest of my network? I would like to see how a desktop full of hard drives turns into a server.

It seems trite and you’ve all heard it before, but understand what to do with your car in emergency situations. Read your owners manual and understand it. Do you have a spare tire? Where is it? Where are the tools to get it out? Does it have air? What is the procedure for jump starting it? How do you get the hood open?
