Speed running is also an old and great method to extend your game’s life. Speed Demos Archive has tons of categories for tons of old and new games. Many of the most popular are ones that complete a game in the least amount of time using whatever method possible (Low % runs) or completing every possible quest (High %…
He was loaded. That tow truck driver did work and is owed money for that work. If a car is loaded, even if the tow truck driver hasn’t left then some kind of fee is owed (even if it is half the tow fee). This driver absolutely did commit a crime here.
It actually does. Those trucks are expensive and so does insurance.
No one in the “biz” calls them hooks anymore.
Once you factor in his parking fine, fine for committing theft of services and his massive suspension damage I don’t think he came out well.
I would add a post script here. Have your towing/roadside assistance plan already worked out ahead of time. If you are uninjured and not obstructing traffic you do not have to use the towing company that the police call. If you have AAA, use it.
I sometimes use the white-noise generators in the Sleep Cycle app on my iPhone (http://www.sleepcycle.com). Sometimes I'll put on a TED talk or other type of lecture. It helps quiet my thoughts and focus.
Yesterday, the owner of the dealership and his son went in person to apologize to Palace Pizza, but the damage has already been done. The world knows that dealership houses an awful pack of assholes, even if those assholes are now, collectively, $7 richer.
I am a huge fan of Ironclad's TSG-04-L work gloves. They have a great fit and they are are as durable as concrete. I had used Last Pass for several years and I moved over to 1Password because of it's ease of use within the Apple eco-system. But I would still say that the most used password manager is the apple keychain. It is always where I need it and it is always behind a device password.
How do you get the dongle?
I have spent my career in the towing and recovery industry. We periodically get stuck with the cars we tow in for impound. Some have been abandoned, some stolen, some wreck, and some are people who have been arrested and don't pick their car up. By my estimate of all the cars we get salvage titles on, about 1 in 300…
That link tells me that it isn't available in the American store. It was probably pulled from the App store.
Seriously people, it isn't that big of a deal. So what if someone hits your knees or it is a little uncomfortable. At least you didn't have to eat your frozen uncle because your wagon train got stuck in the mountains.
Pro-tip, buy tools when they are on sale not when you "need" them. I personally go to garage sales, thrift and pawn shops looking for old craftsman tools. No matter how old or busted they are, Sears will replace them, no questions asked.
I just recently upgraded my phone to the iPhone 5s. I took my old 4s, activated it and gave it to my 11 year old daughter. She doesn't make any phone calls but it lets her text her friends and share their silly in-jokes and minecraft tips. I told her that I get an itemized listing of all her text messages from Sprint…
