I always open a new tab for a Google search, and always middle click all links into a new tab out of habit, so anything that overtakes my current tab makes me a little twitchy.
Random guy who spends way too much time on the internet here. I agree that Ctrl+T + type is the only way. I hide that stupid Google Search Bar immediately upon installing Firefox because I replace it with other, more useful things. Closed Windows List, Xmarks Sync button and LastPass button. All things that either…
I completely agree with you. I went to an AT&T store twice to try and talk myself in the the S3, but couldn't get past the cheap, glossy plastic and general lightness of the device (I was coming from the metal and glass iPhone 4, so i was used to something with some weight to it). And then yea, I ended up with the…
32oz water before bed. 32oz Gatorade in the morning.
Fined? That's rough. By hour two of any meeting I sit through, everyone ends up silent with their eyes pointed towards their own crotches pawing at their phones. It's practically a built-in part of the meetings anymore.
Oh, look who just woke up!
Thanks Carson and Max. I like the Ergotrons, but yea like you said, the prices are high. I'll add that one you linked (actually just the 2 monitor one) to my Amazon cart and watch the price for awhile.
Very nice! What monitor arm mounts are you using? I just designed and built myself a new desk as well and the monitors and mounts are next on the list of things to upgrade.
Sold mine (same model as yours, unlocked) on ebay last week in a 3-day auction for $305. Granted, I had a bunch of extra cables, back covers and an external battery, but for the most part, it seems like around $300 is still pretty standard for iPhone 4 32GBs.
AMEN! Uhhh ... I mean ... yes, I agree with you.

I use the desktop client. I hate the web chat client within Gmail.
Some text about vultures and circling for the kill.
This story is dripping wet with symbolism.

... says the guy with the bobbing head avatar?
The Shanghai Tower AutoCAD may have been used in linked consultants' files or as an early drafting method (just a guess- that's what I sometimes do now), but the building was eventually built in Autodesk Revit, since it's far, far more powerful than AutoCAD as a BIM tool. As a former Gensler employee, I visited the…
You and me both. MusicMatch v4.0 came pre-installed when I bought my first Dell in 1999, and I used it until v11.0 or 12.0 until the Yahoo!-induced bloat made me switch to (speaking of bloat) iTunes.
