I just want to stream my entire iTunes library to any of my other computers (or iPhone) that I 'authorize' and login in with my iTunes account. No storing a mere 20GB of files somewhere else, no extra management to decide what to include in my playlist today. Just "Turn On Library Streaming" in iTunes and away I go.

@Possums: 20 days? That's incredible. How many miles did you raft? We're doing 87 (Lee's Ferry to Phantom Ranch) in 7 days.

@Possums: I have a crappy Eddie Bauer mini-tripod similar to this one that has holes in the legs that I can tether the camera to, and then tether the tripod to my wrist.

@Possums: Sounds like you're doing an OARS trip, too. The Contour's waterproof case has a tripod mount in it, so I might just use one of those cheap 6" tripods as my handheld mount. This way the camera can record me getting tossed from the boat - and record my underwater thrashings.

@suckacheese: The red dots on either side of the lens. They are the leveling/aiming lasers you seek.

@Possums: Awesome. I just bought the Contour HD 1080p (picked it over the GoPro since it was smaller) and am taking it on a weeklong raft trip through the Grand Canyon in 3 weeks. Your video gave me some ideas (the backwards, splash-the oarsman shot), so I'm glad I saw it. Thanks for sharing it.

I JUST bought at Contour HD 1080p last week. Luckily, the lack of mounting options for this OS camera means I won't have the panic of "should I return the Contour and get this instead?!" now.
