It didn't crossed my mind you were being mean, I felt you meant a "Does it matter Adam is gay?". We LH readers have Adam as a friend.

I don't need to imagine: As a bachelor I have been asked that very same question several times (Is that a social thing, being nosy?). A new neighbour. A new coworker. A cashier at the supermarket. "Do you have a wife?" "No, I don't", and not even following with a "why do you ask?". Someone once asked "But you wear a

I briefly have a similar reaction "Wow Adam is gay?" followed by "... so what?" and "ok, let me read his story"

I feel that the same thing would apply... I can't imagine an stranger asking someone "are you straight?" or "do you have a wife and enjoy sex with her?" and the answer being other than "Why is that your business?". And if it is not an stranger, he would know if the other person has a spouse.

I think no one should even feel the need to come out as a special announcement. If a friend or close relative asks, do tell, as naturally as possible, without pride nor shame. If an acquaintance or stranger asks, smile and answer "thanks for your interest, but that is private matter".

You are welcome, I'm glad to be of help!

At least they showed the image of Eccleston several times (despite looking like cardboard cutouts once or twice), right up to the regeneration of Doctor Hurt, when Doctor Eccleston shows through briefly, incidentally establishing that there are not going to be any more Doctors between Hurt and Eccleston.

I read this thread expecting to find a comment by Jesus Diaz in the lines of "point me to any major scientist who believe in God and whose names begin with X" (and then adding "and are below 15 years old"). His comment reminded me of the creationist's argument of the always missing link, that when it is found, they

One of my pet fears is almost this circumstance you are going through, but from the deceased's point of view: me dying without having seen Star Wars 7, NuTrek 3, the 12th Doctor, the Desolation of Smaug, or whatever series is going on after I go.

You are right, Cochese. I tried 8 early this year, I just installed it and tried to use it for a while (hours, not weeks). Couldn't find how to do a lot of the things I knew how to do before, hit a "where the hell is..." too many and came to the conclusion that I did not have time for this.

Thanks, I don't doubt it is doable, but that is a screenshot of an end result, not a how to.

Windows 8 is touch-centric, and no one works touching the screen, it is a gimmick. One works by typing and clicking, it would be tiring to have the arm extended towards the screen to perform operations (consuming media it's another matter).

My main machine still runs the Windows XP I installed in mid-2002. Three motherboard/CPU/RAM upgrades, several HDD upgrades and a lot of Microsoft updates later, it is still solid enough that I don't feel the need to format and install Windows 7 (don't speak to me about 8).

Didn't deltans swore a celibacy oath?

At 10AM in Venezuela (14:30GMT), still down. The page loads, there are even fresh posts from other people, but can't post, Like, comment or upload pictures. Same from the Facebook android client and the Friendcaster client. Sometimes can't log back in when trying to logout+login.

Use the Media Hint chrome extension.

Ok, maybe it wasn't two weeks, perhaps 12 days old. I should have written it, but I was still learning to write.

Precisely what I was going to add. I always let the oil cool for half an our and then pour it in a glass jar through a paper coffee filter. Call me cheap, but this way I can reuse the oil several times.
