I happen to adore slouchy sweaters, and meh colours. Though I probably would call them "neutrals" or "earth tones."
Unsurprisingly, I would wear the shit out of most of this collection.

It looks like a dog chew toy to me.
I see this as further evidence to my theory that they're going to chop the entire second act. First act — maybe Disney, if you squint. Second act — totally and completely not Disney.
I always get Flowers in the Attic (which I haven't read) mixed up with Flower for Algernon (which I have read). TOTALLY DIFFERENT STORIES.
Yeah, I agree with you. It's pretty sensationalistic.
Completely off topic, but I love love love this top, and am super sad it's not in BR's Canadian online store. Boo :(
Edit: Found it!
I myself wasn't born until the late 80s, so I'll take your word for it ;) The article I linked to (where I grabbed the image from) said early 80s, though, so maybe there was some crossover? Or the author was wrong? So many possibilities.
Mostly just glad to know the general consensus is that it's a real ad.
I've seen this floating around for a while now, being represented as ads from the 80s. I'd be super sad to learn they weren't genuine.

Nope. Having no confirmation on Weevil or Mac is NOT good news. I am so happy to hear Wallace is back, though.
Speaking of which, there actually was an SVU episode where an abusive boyfriend tried to stop his girlfriend from getting an abortion with an injunction. It didn't work.
"Look at those cheekbones. I could cut myself slapping that face."
And I'll be swooning in the corner...
I personally think it looks like she started to do the Black Swan thing, and gave up halfway.
Well, I'm glad SOMEONE is thinking straight here.
Pun intended ;)
Between the seashell necklace, the fact the description explicitly states its a re-imagining of Ursula for the "Disney Villains Designer Collection," and the fact they also thinned the Queen of Hearts for the same series — I don't think so.
Huh, I hadn't even looked at those. That's so depressing. Seems like there are a couple of criticisms of the drastic weight/shape change a few pages in, but it's definitely gushing praise for the most part.
Agreed, and also yikes. Way to reference time stamps and forget the link:
I see your sliver of fair, and raise you a close-up shimmy (1:32) and "body language" (3:15). Oh, and some fat-shaming for good measure (0:45-0:59), because Disney is horrible. Ugh.
Yes, even as a child I found Ursula to be *very* sexual, which was both exciting and confusing in a "sexy is good, but Ursula is bad" sort of way. Now, the critical feminist in me shakes my head at yet another characterization of overt female sexuality as the embodiment of evil (literally).
Um, can we please talk about how even the villains are being given makeovers? I get that this isn't meant to be played with, being a "designer" doll and all, but it is still sending a pretty clear message... http://www.disneystore.com/ursula-disney-…
My mum did this! She was in her early 20s when she gave birth to my half-sister, then met my father about a dozen years later. She was 38 when she had me, and my sister was 15. Then she had my brother two years later.
I have so much awe for her, given that she was just a few years away from launching my sister into…
