Being a black girl in the school system (anywhere really) is a double whammy- black and female. But these dress codes are also classsist as hell- if you add low income on top of all that? Forced to wear your sisters old clothes who is shorter than you so maybe the clothes aren’t such a great fit but it’s all you have?

Dress code violations are also unfairly doled out to curvier or overweight students more than slender, less developed students. For example, one school lists the following rule in its code of conduct: “Clothes that are inappropriate in size (too tight) or see-through or expose undergarments may not be worn.” This

STOP WEARING MORE THAN 12" OF MASCARA AT ONE TIME. YOU HAVE GOOEY BLACK CLIFFS DANGLING OFFA YOUR EYES. YOU LOOK LIKE YOUR EYES ARE BEING HUMPED BY RABID SPIDERS. YOU LOOK RIDICULOUS.

They appear to be one of those couples that kinda sorta have the same face.

We already have a Henry, they wouldn’t repeat a name in the very next generation!

That’s the best role to have in a royal family. All the privilege, almost no obligations.

As usual, he says about another person the very thing people say about him.

lolz. Doesn’t one celebrate the life of? Not death???

Teacher from her school here. Her rapist WORKED FOR THE SCHOOL DISTRICT, a fact that makes me need to scream into a pillow with rage. My first day of education classes our professor warned us that no one with a felony would ever, EVER be able to work in schools. WHAT THE HELL. So disgraceful. Mujey was bright and kind

Also, a hundred bucks says that within a few weeks, a woman comes forward and says he paid for her to have an abortion or tried to push her into having one.

I’ve said something similar before but I don’t want a female James Bond or a female Indiana Jones or a female anything else. I don’t want the scraps of a tired franchise for great actresses. Give us new franchises with powerful women with their own new stories. I think it’s happening by the way so basically just MOAR

Yeah, that line was rather laughable. It smacked of trying too hard. It’s OK if you are vaguely aware of the lives of celebrities/royalty!

You know, being a royal wife/marrying into the royal family is a very specific thing to do. It’s a full-time job where people are watching you all the time, so you’d have to really really want it. As much as a lot of young girls talked about marrying Harry, probably the actual number who’d want to go around waving and

I hate Fixer Upper. I am constantly annoyed when they bring their children around. Don’t exploit your children for a television show. I am so glad to see it go. I say just double down on episodes of Flea Market Flip.

Portrait of Teenage Weariness.

I agree. As a therapist one of the greatest skills I feel I’ve acquired has been the ability to be in silence. It is very powerful.

I was a block from the stage in D.C., her presence during that 4 minutes was one of the most powerful things I have ever seen. I don’t know if I would have been able to contain myself if I had seen those “pro-life” Christianist shitbags acting so unbelievably evil, I would have likely done something that would have

I was at an anti-Iraq War protest sometime around 2003 and for some reason there were anti-abortion counter protesters there with the big bloody signs. I don’t even remember their rationale for it, I guess they just turn up for anything.

Yeah, they had a sign that said “rethink your priorities - guns kill 18 children a day but abortion kills 3,000 children a day” or something like that. They also had all their graphic posters as well. They’re ALWAYS out in DC so I’m getting kind of desensitized to it, but they’re just awful people on a day like today.

The pro-life protestors were...protesting the gun control protest? Of course they were, those fuckers.
