He looks like he has mange (no offense to any decent folks here dealing with scabies).

In which we all are the black guy who takes one look at what’s going on, and then nopes the fuck out of there.

excuse me

Kind gesture, but also a matter of public safety. Idiots like me would have stopped and chased him in full-on traffic.

This is what nurse phone lines are great for. They’ll explain that you should give some tylenol or motrin, see if it goes down, and then guide you about whether and when to come in. I have such vivid memories of calling them in the middle of the night about high fevers, croup, etc. Having kids is scary.

Not missing a dog, but am “missing” a boyfriend. Are any of these heroes single? I have two dogs who would love to meet you.

I heard this interview that had the best argument for `natural’ or homoeopathic medicine; it reduces antibiotic over-use. Basically, it’s pretty useful to have some sort of placebo to hand out to people who are freaking out over regular colds etc... That said, unless an actual doctor is doing it, you can’t trust

There were 2 reasons I chose our pediatrician, and it was based on negative Yelp reviews.

This is a really ageist comment. I work with people in this gentleman’s age group. You have no idea what you are talking about.

Both influential and irrelevant. Damn, son, do you need a chiropractor for that twisting you did?

This sounds suspiciously like something a Pirate in witness protection would say.

Gotta admit, still pretty good for a cat though.

Little Ditty with Jo and dying.

A friend of mine who is disabled calls the rest of us “the temporarily able-bodied.” ;)

But where will they go to pay a fee to slowly roll backwards down a hill.

It’s just really small (in population and size) and an island. It’s not like abortions were legal, there just wasn’t anywhere that provided them.

Since I, as a Canadian citizen, will be affected by the reproductive choices that people do and do not make, and the children they may or may not want to have, yes! This is a place where I want my tax dollars going, please and thank you.

That’s not really the case. Islanders are “allowed” to get abortions, and they’re paid for by the government. The problem is there are no services currently on PEI for women to use. They have to go to Moncton or Halifax, which are three and four hours away, respectively, to obtain those services. It’s a chunk of money

The best news is, no one will ever have to go to Moncton again for any reason.

The big tide has turned!

(that's a bay of Fundy joke for y'all)
