I don’t understand what was so great about the nemesis system... Of course that’s probably because I only died, like, two times while playing through Shadow of Mordor. And even the Orcs who did survive, and reappear after I defeated them, it was always a meh moment for me when they showed up again. I was always like

I’ll buy it day one. 2 of the most underappreciated games of the last generation. That, and I’m a sucker for Joe Mad’s art.

I guess this is truly a matter of personal preferences. I, for one, absolutely love it :O

Friends, nostalgia, attachment to past accomplishments, lack of desire to level, etc., etc.

Good on them for changing their tune, but I think it is kind of sad that there needed to be this outpouring of negative feedback for them to realize their business model was scummy and underhanded.

But maybe skip Arkham Origins unless you’re jonesing for a bat fix something fierce.

$40 for one new explorable location, when the base game shipped with four locations at $60 and even that was considered underwhelming.

Attempting to sway the fans of the source Material but not want to be compared to the source material seems to be counterproductive.

Lincoln. Lincolns. Lincoln3.

I don’t understand why people say it isn’t “true” Final Fantasy. The only consistent thing are crystals, heroes, enemy types, and chocobos. Almost everything else changes wholesale.

I have mixed feelings on DDD. Story-wise it’s important as hell, but the dream eater element was dumb.

Not sure being able to play last gen’s games is really a mic drop moment...

Being able to play against real people and actually use the leader’s abilities to the fullest and strategize are exactly what people like us need. I mean, one of Emhyr’s abilties is looking at 3 cards of your oppponent’s hand, why the fuck does the computer need that?

He asked himself, “should I plagiarize multiple people?”.

I’d tend to disagree. Most of what I hear from the other team is complaining that, “X team member sucks” and “Y team member isn’t as good as them” (this is, of course, in addition to trying to rationalize to their own team that THEY were not to blame for any mistakes).

I just want to point something out: though I’m hesitant to tell people what they should or shouldn’t criticize, I think it’s... misguided to complain or worry about Fallout 4’s graphics right now. What’s more important is that this trailer looks real, which is more than we could say for all the bullshots and CGI

They’re all pretty cool. I dodge and use Quen a lot, so Cat suits my style best—and man, the high-level Cat armor is so cool looking.

Their excuse for no flying is dumb.

So what you’re telling us is that, despite their attempts to make it otherwise, their game that was designed to be shallow and boring unless you spent real money on the gatcha system is, in fact, shallow and boring when all the limits have been removed.

To add to that, there’s another potential child of Oedon - the prostitute Arianna becomes pregnant with a baby Great One...while hiding out with the others in which location?
