From what I have heard from people who have played all the Souls and went into Bloodborne it takes a mindset change. Much faster and more offensive based where as most people play a Souls game slow and methodically. Plus FromSoftware didn't want to name their next game Souls because they don't want to be a studio

How about we let people do whatever the fuck they want and the consequences of how others perceive them are theirs to own?

oh man, that f***er on the stairs...

Man, the Maneater, I still remember the first time I walked into that fight, had no idea of what was coming, Latria by itself had already been an ordeal, even that las mind flayer at the stairs got my heart racing, when I saw the fog gate I wa relieved for just one second before I realized that there was a big chance

I was wondering why R3 was listed as lock-on. I couldn't get that to work but I don't think I used R1 first so thanks for the tip.

What lazy-ass, ill-conceived, nonsense.

Frieza was kind of a lame-ass villain to start with, but this is just looking for ways to make him suck more.

The only thing cool about Frieza was waiting around to see what crazy new form he'd transform into.
This 3rd Street Saints version of Frieza is a worse lazy palette swap

Yeah, there's a world of difference between a fan-project (which should always be allowed unless they're clearly screwing over the value/perception of the property), and someone attempting to extract money from a faked official release.

There are a few distinct worlds inside the Souls games.

Honestly, its probably a quick way for Nordic to get some money off the IP and judge interest in a third game. Kinda makes sense. I'll buy it again, I really enjoyed the game and would love to see a third.

If I had to take a guess, this is more a publicity thing; Nordic is probably trying to get Darksiders back I'm people's minds after a long hiatus, possibly gearing up for a sequel announcement? One can hope, at least, I did like those games. :)

Awesome! I can only speak for the first half of the season, but it's definitely worth checking out just for the consistenly gorgeous animation, the original character designs and the lack of the usual anime tropes and characters alone. I just hope it sticks the landing and doesn't get unnecessarily convoluted by the

For the love of god, Nozaki-kun (#2 on the list). Never hurt myself laughing before...

I'm right there with ya. I started with sao and have been going off of recommendations ever since.

Aldnoah.Zero is the best on that list imo.

I think you'll find that many games have great aspirations that are then scaled back due to budget, time or system resources. It seems to be the latest thing, let's look at what COULD have been and assume that it was all 99% done and they dropped it just to spite us, or to sell it as DLC, or because they're dumb dumbs.

Ive had origins on PC for years and I make an effort to play it but its so boring. I like DA2 and I love DA:I. Origins is the worst in the series.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't get what was so amazing about Origins. Sure, I enjoyed the game, (have at least a few completed saves) but by no means do I feel it's one of the best I've ever played.

Now playing

While there are jump scares in Five Nights games, those only happen if you play the game inefficiently. In a perfect game of Five Nights, you never encounter a jump scare at all. Of course, there's a running joke that most people don't play beyond five minutes, because they get too scared, so the average person's

Yeah, in spite of its various flaws, Inquisition deserves Game of the Year.
