Board games always seem cool, but I just don’t have people around to play them with these days. Lots of interesting looking games.

Man, I couldn’t imagine playing a Metal Gear Solid game and skipping all the cutscenes. Crazy lore is my jam. Loved the previous Witcher games and found Witcher 3 to be absolutely amazing. Loved the previous MGS games and found MGSV to be fantastic. Good year overall so far. Can’t wait for Xenoblade Chronicles.
Wow, I didn’t know that existed. Cheers!
Now remake Final Fantasy Legend III from the Game Boy.
I know, it’s just a shame that people will have to go to youtube to know what happens.
Bro, I listened to every single tape in that game, including the ones that were literally like half an hour of science talk about how voice parasites work haha. I love crazy video game lore in general, so MGS is right up my alley.
That’s certainly possible. When it comes to connecting MG1 and 2 with the story as a whole I feel like it’s all interpretation, because those games were made in a time when video game stories were more of an after thought. No matter what you come up with you’ll be stretching to some degree to connect everything…
I get what you’re saying. Honestly if that last episode was put into the game I’d be okay with the pieced together nature of chapter 2, but having it be both unfinished and made up of repeat episodes together was a bit much to swallow.
They state in the tapes that the medic was the best man they had at MSF, that’s why he was already a badass and a good test subject. I don’t think they expected him to actually live up to the legend, Zero just wanted someone who would take the attention.
To each their own. I’m normally not someone who goes for the “high score” in a game, but with MGSV I loved trying to reach those S ranks in the stealthiest ways possible.
What’s sad is that the bugs they’re delaying the game to fix are with online features.
I don’t know that the guy making this video has a Patreon at all. In fact in the video I’m fairly sure he says that he has no interest in making money off of his videos and does them as a hobby.
I think my favorite card description is that of Progenitus.
I actually watched the entire show after reading your piece before explaining the show and quite enjoyed it over all. I can certainly agree that Tree Trunk got pretty annoying. BMO and Marceline are probably where it’s at for me.
I highly recommend Darksiders 2. It is actually one of my favorite games, but not for traditional reasons. It doesn’t have an award winning story or the most complex gameplay, but the combination of things that make it up help it to be one of the most genuinely fun games to play for me.
I’m sure it’s difficult for them to have a sequel out by now considering that their team got spread out and moved around when THQ went down. From what I recall hearing this version is made by a lot of people from the old Darksiders team, so it’s likely both a chance to see if people still want Darksiders as well as a…
As someone who played WoW for a long time I’d say for a lot of people it’s largely nostalgia as well as how comfortable you get with WoW. Even if you stop playing and come back later, no matter how much has changed, after a few days you’ll have the hang of it and be right back to that “comfortable” playstyle,…
The guy kissing her there isn’t Eren, it’s someone called Shikishima apparently.
“Fuckton” is a word that doesn’t get used enough in news articles.
