Something like that yeah. We didn't know what to expect from the difficulty so we went in on normal and one shot the first boss with people in the raid who had never even looked at the fight before, and the second boss wasn't much more difficult.

I completely disagree. The entire point of this feature is to simulate the same experience you'd get by sitting in your friend's living room swapping the controller around. This should be considered the equivalent of that. There's little stopping those same people from just borrowing that game from their friends so

That's what I mean, some devs don't fix their games at all, so the ones who do manage to get fixes out (especially in a reasonable time frame) still deserve a shout out.

Day one patches are perfectly acceptable IMO, as long as things are fixed by the time people get the game in their hands.

I mean that a game SHOULD work on day one, but if it's patched right away then that's acceptable too.

I disagree that it's being too hard on devs. I completely understand that each scenario is different and some may not have the time they need to have it perfect on release, but they also want you to give them $60 for their product, and as such they are opening themselves to such scrutiny. It may not always be devs who

We should absolutely expect games to work they way they're intended to on day one. That being said however, it's worth giving a shout out to those who fix their products when when they don't work that way, because some devs don't even bother doing that.

Thanks for the shout out!

Correction: That's not how YOUR feet work. Obviously you're not a professional Soccer/Football player. That man is just talented is all.

That could be the case! I played with a friend and we did every story mission (probably half of them on hard because for the most part we found the missions too easy), every strike, and one or two pvp matches. The problem with doing PvP at max level is that whether or not you get gear from it is entirely random,

Hey man, if you enjoy it then more power to ya. The game is definitely not a bad one, but I would definitely still call it a grind. To get through the story missions took maybe 10 hours, which means everything after that is doing the exact same things you did while leveling for another god knows how many hours.

Because you're supposed to be level 26 for the raid and to get from 20 to 26 you have to do the exact same stuff you did while leveling from 1-20 over and over again. There's nothing new to experience at 20 to help make the gear grind enjoyable.

Well then I know what I'll be doing next week!

Sounds like you need to get on that dude's level!

I actually LOVED that conversation between Dante and the Succubus. I thought it was hilarious and obviously not meant to be taken seriously.

You call him Potter, I call him the same thing I call every Persona protagonist: Kenpachi Ramasama.

More like Stupei, Ace Defective.

I'm really diggin the visuals. It looks like they've done a pretty great job of bringing that DQ art style to life.

Well that's incredibly badass. I'm actually really liking that take on the Souls UI.

I'd love to see a new Vagrant Story with a similar art style in HD, so long as they work on the mechanics and the way they introduce them to the player because that was one of the most unintuitive games I have ever played.
