Finally, the wallpaper I’ve been waiting for. A ‘69 Eliminator in orange next please.

Very few cars on the market can lure me in with their beauty these day, fortunately I’m also an performance fan so numbers can overcome that. Usually. But I simply have never considered GT-R ownership as the numbers just don’t make up for the looks, or lack there of.

Can we just move past the “aggressive” car phase already? Enough with a million cut lines, aggressive front ends and murdered out and matte finishes. Can we have cars that are beautifully designed, exquisitely detailed and pleasing coloured again?

Sir Jackie is owed a big debt of gratitude from the racing community.

Interesting that the first race of the season should showcase apparent weaknesses with regard to the halo system. I’m not a fan, but would support it if proven to benefit driver safety more than it endangers it. These are not sports cars with large cockpits, so the argument I hear simply isn’t supported.

I had the same thought.

Bolted up in the middle of the night realizing I forgot to tape the race. Glad I did not see this crash live as not sure i’d be able to return to sleep with my heart stuck in my throat. It’s not Hamilton who is #blessed

Kimi is F1's King of Cool.

The key to the shifter is a delicate and precise touch. Once I realized that, no more shifter issues.

Not an option.

Mood enhancer indeed. This car is more fun than just about anything I’ve ever owned. And I’ve owned a tonne. I took the ZL1, 1LE and GT350R for serious drives and while I respected the 1LE, and was impressed by the GT350R I didn’t feel compelled to trade in my car. Cars usually last two years with me (M3 included) but

On this basis alone, I am now cheering for Renault as my new favourite F1 team. There was only ever one black livery that was exciting, and that was the JPS Lotus colours. Everything else is a poor imitation. Bring back colour I say!

Cliffsad made me happy. This is (sob) beautiful.

I was at the unveiling of the new Camaro at Belle Isle and was underwhelmed by the design. Too busy and not sleek enough for my taste. I’m more drawn to the Mustangs looks (and the GT350R’s driving dynamics...what a thrill) but this ZR1 is damn impressive and may deserve a second look.

Wow, the simplified front end looks terrific.

I'd have to opt for the rear seat delete, delete on the GT350R. But I hear what you're saying.

This is true. I am the same driver who has also piloted a GT350R which beats them all. As an ownership experience to meet my needs, I rate them in this order:

If say this is an advantage. In a world of autonomous cars, we will likely summon cars based on need rather than own them. So if that’s the future what does a Ford offer that Chevy does not? This is real branding, standing for driving excitement and purity and could pay big dividends.

Is Trump really any different than Trudeau? Both depend on riding the wave of celebrity popularity.
