It’s Porsche with a lift on the “e” which is a soft a, not two full syllables. Honestly the Porsche-Ah people bug me as much as the Porsche people. Get it right people!
“Hey honey, I tried to sell it but no buyers, sorry.” An intentional CP from the owner. Cool bit of AMC kit none the less.
Phaeton, I would agree.
While true, must of us DD our main car less than 200 miles a day. So the Tesla is perfectly suited for that role. I love my road trips, and yes it’s not suited for that role, but neither is my current DD. That’s why I have more than 2 cars.
Oh believe me, theres a tonne of drama when you launch this car. So much so, that you do it over, and over again. It is, as many have noted, a damn fine automobile. I love the noise and fury, and analogue input of a hi-revving NA motor, that my current Boss and possibly future GT350 offers. But having driven a Tesla,…
Damn, I wish he was my neighbour. I also loved when Clarkson had a Lightening on a plinth on his property. Spoilsports made him take it down too.
That’s me, I mean it was free so I was OK with it...but I’ve yet to listen to it.
I saw this as a 30 year old film buff and hated it. But what I hated more was the teens in the audience getting off on it like it was celebrating their lifestyle. Taught me to write off Scarberia as a wasteland and move West.
Because people like me (and more than a few friends) migrated from M3’s and 3/4 series coupes to Mustangs as they were as fast, more fun and frankly more durable at a track day. I bought in via a Boss 302.
Ah, nope. The Boss 302 engine braked as well.
True enough. I was always impressed with the “hat height” in my Bimmers. But s lower cowl helps here. Not sure the Mustangs tall engine bay would allow it. Shame.
Proportion. And the classic Mustang silhouette probably is a factor. The 3 Series is a more upright design language. The new Camaro ditches excess in order to be more efficient yet the effort wasn't worth it. I was at the reveal and the stubby nose/long greenhouse makes it look more like a sedan than a sports coupe.…
Well, I was OK with the styling in pictures. But seeing it in person, that is, out and among other cars on the road, it looks great. So yeah, better in person.
Well, the rear is better looking than the new ‘16 Canaro.
Not all. This link used to be for the Boss 302S. I suspect the new Shelby race version will be here soon. https://fordperformanceracingparts.com/m/part.asp?p=1…
This article and the comments below are gut wretching. There needs to be much harsher punishment for rape and sexual assault crimes, doubly so when from a person in a trusted position. The men who commit these crimes (and let’s not pretend otherwise; it is almost exclusively men) are ruining the lives of the victims…
Trim is by definition, useless. So if the kidney grill is OK on electric Bimmers, side scoop design elements are OK on a Mustang, no?
I'm in. Marketing and design.
Great review. As for my current shopping list, GT350R next please followed by The new Miata/Alfa, the current Alfa and the Cayman GT
