The huge "Another World" vibe I'm getting off this alone makes me want to play it. Looks so good :3
I was going to try to explain it, but this is much more elegant.
You're still my hero, Bob
I can see how this came about, given that old-style CRT (tube) monitors gave a pretty decent shot of radiation. That said, it was mostly out the back of the monitor, and as the article points out, who the heck isn't using LCDs in developed countries?
Wake me when something relevant comes out.
Dat orange.. WHY haven't they done this sooner, for any of their devices :X
I must be getting old...
Why didn't the ONLY man with the gun out of ten body guards wait until the five men ahead of him were dead before trying to shoot? Why didn't getting shot have any effect on the wacko? Why just sit there when it's obvious you need to either move or die? WHY?!

Psst. You're trying too hard.
That's an excellent point; Sony and Microsoft don't have the kind of legacy of outstanding games that Nintendo does. It would make sense for them to specialize in backwards compatibility since they don't focus as much on graphics, further removing themselves from the power-wars of the other two consoles.
Apparently I'm one of the few that knows what the author is talking about. Once you get to the point where you're lucky to get a couple hours of gaming in on a weekend, how do you justify wasting a significant amount of your free time just to inch your way through a story.
MY BRAND!
Sorry, I must be getting old. In the toddler days of gaming, teams or often a single programmer would release demos to wow people on BBS'. They were just demonstrations (hence demo) of what they were capable of doing, with no interaction and no context. They just looped, doing something cool graphically and usually…
