Most people made their reservations after the unveil, and those who made their reservations before the unveil are the most hard-core die-hard Tesla fans, so of course they aren’t canceling.

The fact that they reserved without seeing the design kinda indicates they weren't too worried with how it would look, doesn't it?

Exploiting a loophole legally is not cheating. It is beyond tacky, but it is no different than taking advantage of a tax break build into a tax code. Most of the outrage arising out of this should be aimed at the legislators/regulators who did not produce rules and regulations that clearly set forth what was

The “won’t cost a million dollars” is an expression meaning that it will be affordable. Their base price estimate is under $35,000 (I’ll add that in to make it clear that $1 million wasn’t literal).

Also, you’d be surprised how difficult it is to integrate components into cohesive systems. In fact, most carmakers are

Does Tesla not have ONE human factors expert on staff?

What is wrong with traditional gauges? Look how tiny the speedo is. As an IT dude and car freak, get this horseshit out of the automobile. Imagine getting pulled over...

Sarcasm is duly noted. Now for my freakout.

Where did that “0-60: 8.4s” come from? Even the old 2011 Spark EV only takes 7.2 seconds. Chevy hasn’t released specs on the Bolt yet, but they have said it will do 0-60 in under 7 seconds and will have a rage of more than 200 miles.

It’s a Dodge Neon, so probably everything else that wasn’t already broken.

my time to shine!!! I worked for *INSERT OEM HERE* as a release engineer for weatherstrips, and DLO’s those chrome strips around the windows are not so easy to change color, they aren’t like a bumper, or insert on the side of the car. they are almost always stainless steel or aluminum usually stretch-bent or stamped.

It’s not bad and I’m not sure if its just the color but the Sedan looks nicer than the hatch (to me) in this redesign. That said, the old one had a more distinct and fun look about it....If I were in the market for one, I think I’d take a ‘16 off the lot rather then the newer ‘17.

This is not terrible:

You need to italicize or put quotations around “Metal” otherwise, and you know this, you’re going to get reply after reply of heavy steel on frame cars. Or tanks.

That SU-34 is a damned fine looking Airplane.

Well, yes. At what point will it stop being just mine and become everyone’s, though?
