I just bought a Windows 8 laptop because I need Windows for work but I hate it. I've put Elementary OS on it for when I'm not at work but hopefully this update will make it easier to cope with Windows 8 in general.

I have that issue unless I scribble on paper first to get a general idea of what I'm doing. The paper may not be legible to anyone else but it works for me.

I come from a scientific background and so I've worked mostly with MATLAB, Python and LabVIEW. Personally I prefer writing code as I find it easier to follow the logic (especially for large projects), but I can happily work with LabVIEW's GUI approach.

Nah man, you have to be doing something really wrong to brick your Wii. I haven't used my Wii's disk drive to do anything other than copy a game to my external HDD in over 3 years. Running all my games from the HDD is a real benefit.
