I don’t know what it is, but something has clearly changed behind the scenes at GMG in the recent past.

Unions can be complete shit too.

Dang - I was just there a month ago, and there were armed security guards all around the place. Of course, that was during the day, maybe they take nights off?

And yeah, the Italian beer was “meh” at best, but that may just be my taste - then again, items that they considered “spicy” were barely at the level of mild to

I like vegan/vegetarian food as long as it’s not trying to pretend it’s something else.

Don’t give me none of that fake meat.

I get the frustration for an especially right-wing business doing stupid shit on a right-wing hot-button issue. That you have questioned the validity of my personal observations of the place (“if it is as you claim,”) means you’re either too wrapped up in your own anger about the generalized implications of everything

Their employees love them, and that’s not in a cultish way like that chicken place, at least at that spot.

If this had happened at literally ANY other In’O location, I’d be all about bashing them, but this particular location is a gathering point for the homeless because it’s, like, the ONLY place homeless people can afford to eat in the vicinity of the majority-tourist Fisherman’s Wharf Area of SF.

Call me whatever you want, there is literally no such thing as a sensitivity to “non organic” food.

“we later realized this was because the oats weren’t certified gluten-free and organic.”

The “and organic” is when I stopped reading.
Also, it seems like a lot other options and foods were eliminated “just because” and/or haven’t been retested since the elimination of dairy. I’m sure this was extremely difficult to deal

If people have been socializing in public for 6 weeks and there has not been a spike in cases, you could make a pretty good argument that COVID is, for the purpose of people who have been vaccinated against this virus, pretty much over. Even with so many people not vaccinated.

“Start slideshow” haha nope. If I want to read blurry oversized text, I’ll go look at copy-pasted “funny” “memes” on facebook. Text is great to show... text.

@Lawrence in all honesty, is there some direction from Rory or others to use this slideshow format? I’m curious if you’d see higher (total) page view counts without them, if folks knew you’d abandoned the format?  Just curious.

Jesus....I even got one of the slides and I still think these are idiotic

Just say no to slideshow.

Yeah, there are no dry counties in Nebraska. We’re a love to booze state.

So like most things helmed by middle-aged white women, the progressiveness and inclusivity is just for show?

it’s not that it’s “too authentic,” it’s that it smells and tastes literally rotten.

Yes, we know. We know, we all know, because New Yorkers cannot resist posting this same comment any time any pizza that wasn’t made with the sacred water of New York is mentioned in any context.

Nah. We’re not talking about pitting Casey’s pizza v. DOP Neapolitan pizza here. It’s Casey’s v. Domino’s, Pizza Hut, Papa John’s, etc. Among that group of competitors, Casey’s is a beacon in an otherwise dark, gloomy world. Plus your flyover bullshit is a tired trope.

It’s significantly better than NY pizza, and I’ll fight anyone who says otherwise
