This needs to be a poster. A really BIG poster. Posted in every schoolroom in the United States.
I stopped breathing for a second, watching that scene. Their chemistry is AMAZING
This is how Hitler started :(
I just learned this on vacation: If you like scrambled eggs with cheese, then put the grated cheese into the raw egg, and fry it all together (i.e. rather than melting the cheese onto the cooked eggs later.)

She is sort of terrible with kids. The fact that she lies to them as a general principle of interacting with them is annoying.
This season is a mess and this episode proves it. It could have done with less mommy anxiety, more humor and a little more mystery. If you're going to make a kids episode like this , by all means make the plot understandable. It really wasn't necessary to anthropomorphize the natural processes of the planet with…
i am a season to season doctor who liker (not exactly a fan, but a liker) - this season is a mess, it looks cheap, it has "cheap" stories, it lacks previous season' grandeur, I like the doctor, sad that he is often blamed for this season's uninspiring stories. sad
Doctor Who is actually science fiction, as much as Star Trek or Star Wars or most other big media science fiction franchises.
This episode felt a lot like a story about nothing. Nothing really needed to be done, barely anyone was in trouble, the doctor just needed to sit and watch and what was with the mothers acting at the end? Very painful.
There's a flaw in that logic... but I can't think what it is.
So you're saturating the environment with oxygen... to fireproof the world?
Funny thing is, I completely agree with you about this series being sh*t, but not about anything else. I've really enjoyed Capaldi, and Clara has never been better (IMO). Danny is a great addition, too. But the writing has been HORRIBLE.
I completely agree, I used to look forward to new episodes of Who, I'm now three behind and can't muster the desire to watch them. This season has been mishandled, and it's pushing me away. I guess they wanted to make Capaldi a more cranky Doctor, but he's just not likable. I liked Clara at first, now in this series…
The answer to every question in this episode is:
Oh look, another episode where NOTHING MAKES SENSE. It was almost more insulting than "Kill the Moon".
