I always knew that I saw things differently, I was made fun of by kids for wearing oddly matched colors as a kid , I now just wear mostly dark hues. I don't really notice it but other people do, and only when I am describing a color, I just see it differently.

Oh yeah, this red-green thing mostly affects hues of color, for example I can see red just fine, but if you show me a spectrum of red colors I have a hard time distinguishing between them they all look red until there is a distinct lightness or darkness in the spectrum. I have heard they have glasses for it, but I think you would only need them in certain situations, like watching traditional 3D movies, so I don't think it has affected me too much.

I saw the same thing (Soap Opera video look) for the first 5 minutes and then I think my eyes adjusted, and it looked pretty good. I was just in such awe of the 3D, I kept pawing at the things floating in front of my face, my girlfriend was mortified. I have never seen such a thing, I was sooo happy.

I have Tritanomaly which is basically a red-green deficiency in my eyesight; The picture you put in the post looks flat to me, no floating, jut flat.

They do clean pretty regularly as part of their daily life aboard the ISS, I have read they have learned alot from MIR, astronauts hated going to MIR because it smelled like a porta-potty, and they would have to EVA to flush out bad air from time to time.

I have tested this myself, I switched to tea in the morning for a week, and I was so backed up it was painful, I thought it was the caffeine that caused the bowels to wake up, but it was the coffee.
