Congratulations on the wee one.

Wow. So, if you get a stomach bug that means you are too sick to go to school but is just a stomach bug, you have to get in to see the doctor? That's crazy. I would think that would lead to an awful lot of presenteeism and wind up spreading a lot more illness.

My aunt has an invasive form of uterine cancer. They keep taking parts out of her and then six months later they find more cancer and have to take more parts out of her, and her doctors (her wonderful doctors who have already worked miracles) have basically said that they're going to have to continue to do this

Okay, good. It's been a long week and I wasn't sure if maybe there was something I was missing.

I know, right? (Great gif, btw)

So, according to this article (http://www.nytimes.com/2013/02/27/opinion/native-americans-and-the-violence-against-women-act.html?_r=0), tribal authorities were able to "apprehend, charge, and try rapists — regardless of race. Tribal courts had such jurisdiction until 1978, when the Supreme Court ruled that they did

They can, but it appears that 67% of the time they decline to. And according to this, 80% of sex crimes on reservations are committed by non-native men.

*swoon*

Definitely. I watched the whole show on DVD after it was off the air (basically because Netflix kept telling me I would like it).

I, too, have seen that My mom is a MILF shirt and I was horrified second. First, I thought, You realize that MILF stands for Mother I'd Like to Fuck, right? Because that means you've put a shirt on your child suggesting that he would like to fuck his mother. And that's gross.

One of the entertainment shows was on when I turned the TV on the other night (Inside Edition, maybe?), and they had some video of her at some event wearing a flowing lacey top and some leather leggings and she looked fucking terrific. There are lots of reasons not to like Kim Kardashian. The way she looks during

I had never heard of those before, but now I have a new go-to cheer-upper! Thank you! I needed that today!

I do not want to be spared. Essay away!

I'm a little unclear on that, too. However, I'm also unclear on what CVS Caremark (or the 3rd party referenced above) is planning on doing with the information they gather from the people seeking to avoid the $50 per month surcharge.

What's next? They'll strap us all to exercise machines at lunchtime to harness our energy and convert it into power to subsidize our Nationally fucked insurance costs?

Right? For the gifs alone she deserves a paycheck.

Ha!

I know one person who admits to being a fan of the Kardashians. I've never been able to get her to really articulate what it is that she likes about them but it seems to be that she finds their physical beauty + money + lifestyle drama appealing in the same way that people enjoy watching soap operas.

Is that a true story? Because it's hilarious and awful if it is.

I was surprised when I read this, too, because I remember thinking a couple of times, Guys, I'm glad you're concerned about this, but really, I'm fine. The week I was due, both of the midwives I saw talked to me about the symptoms of PPD. In the hospital, the nurse practitioner who discharged me went over the
