Am I the only one left wondering, "What the hell is a photobomb"?

Now that's how you take care of a nasty Hornet infestation. Nyahaha.

Okay, so if anyone out there is in a caring, explanatory mood, care to enlighten me? I just bought a brand new LG Ally, and it's the sweetest damn thing I've ever happened to own. Hardware keyboard ftw. That said, how do these Android updates work, anyway? Am I stuck with a 2.1 device because that's what the device

@kingmaker: Ahh, sounds like the cries of an uninspired end-user drone. Cry harder little drone.

@Lizard_King: Well, see, that's the thing, downloading is even less "harmful". Stealing a CD means someone actually lost something (see RyanLN's comment, lulz). So the record store, person, etc., actually loses money. Downloading is free for all, just a potential lost sale for the record pigs. Even then, I often buy

@JohnnyricoMC: More likely a Bestec power supply (and I highly doubt the PC survived to post the tale).

@sentroshi: Clearly, because the guy was standing right next to his door holding a surveillance camera instead of running outside going "AHHMYIPHONE<3<3". For the slow: it's a mounted surveillance camera. Its owner was probably nowhere to be found at the moment.

@Kaiser-Machead: In other words, it's a fucking pipe, not a massive uncontrollable crack or widespread disorganized leakage. It's all coming out of one fucking pipe. How the hell did we get the pipe down there to begin with, let alone having been drilled even further below that? With such a simple, pinpointed

@oddgit: People wouldn't be having these crazy expectations if, maybe, theses crazy expectations weren't promised them by both AT&T _and_ Apple. I'd be just as pissed if it were regarding my current phone (LG enV3) and a new version, where Verizon promised an early upgrade.

@RawheaD: Not really, just because they keep getting shoved down my throat like every person on the planet owns an Android/iPhone.

@Time Pilot AKA: But you don't sit like 10 feet away from your laptop to watch something. That's kinda the point.

Ahh, life without a Smartphone has never been better.

Hm, perfect timing for this article. Just last night I blew all-out and yanked the (detachable) thermostat off the wall and basically blocked out the A/C from my abusive, irresponsible roommates until they can learn how to handle life without A/C, hence learn to appreciate it. Why? A certain someone's irritating and

@exoren22: No, actually... when you disable the page file, Windows virtualizes it within RAM anyway. So making a RAM drive for a page file is like storing all your data in a mounted virtual disk image on your hard drive.

@exoren22: Exactly the opposite of what I just said. Windows writes to (and hence reads from) the page file whenever it feels like it. Removing the page file means Windows keeps everything in memory - just like it should. You really should try it before running your keyboard off.

@Dave Myers: Crazy, it's like I do this for a living and might know what I'm talking about, too. Except at least I have 100% real life experience, as opposed to some textbook regurgitation. I catch errors in tech textbooks. You?

@dole: Think I'd rather just use the featured program, than have a batch file running all the time just to keep Automatic Updates at bay...

@Dave Myers: Why not? Because Windows restarts the service when it notices it's not running.

@Jashan_b: Then it comes back on the next time Windows realizes that Automatic Updates isn't running. "net stop wuauserv" is the same thing. I REALLY WISH people would stop passing that piece of bad advice around.
