So, so hot.

WAIT. Waitwaitwaitwaitwait. Are you telling me that they have Laura Benanti (awesome), Audra McDonald (insanely awesome) and Christian Borle (love of my musical life) and they're using Carrie Underwood and Stephen Moyer for the leads? WHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHY?????????

Somewhere in our youths or childhoods, we must have done something bad.

That looks more pouty child than smolder.

Does anyone else wish Julie Andrews wasn't so gracious, so that she'd tell the world her real opinion about this? Like when Faye Dunaway railed against the (eventually shelved, I guess?) remake of "Bonnie & Clyde" with Hilary Duff?

I think Vampire Bill and Carrie Underwood gazing longingly at each other during "Something Good" will be the comedic highlight of the holiday season.

Plummer GIF Party!!

I was babysitting a friend's child who had never seen Sound of Music and she was practicing piano and showing me "Do-rey-me.." Etc. Anyway, I start doing the song, shocked she had never seen the movie, and I get to "when you know the notes to sing..." And I realise holy shit! I'm being Maria! I asked her if her

Laura Benanti is the baroness! And she's going to kill it!

Carrie Underwood is terminally boring. "As boring as a snail dreaming about cotton balls", as Lindy would say.

Vampire Bill and Carrie Underwood will NEVER reach this level of sexual tension:

I blame Christopher Plummer for my poor choice in men: the aloof, distant, unavailable, stern and complicated ones. They never turn into the Kaptein Von Trapp in the second half of the movie.

Captain Von Trapp is the first man I remember being interested in. I didn't even know why, but he was my favourite part of the movie when I was a kid.

Here are my thoughts:

I cannot agree with you strongly enough. Retta is criminally under used on Parks and Rec.

But only if Donna is a cast member as well!
