I think you might have misunderstood me, or at least chosen to bypass the snarkily facetious nature of my "curiosity" (good on you if so), though I am glad you posted all of this information as it will undoubtedly help others.

I went to a women's college. First year, everyone used tampons or pads. Second year, there were like 50 DivaCup keeper things in the bathroom cubbies. Third year was all about reusable rags and horrifying stains in the sinks. Senior year, back to tampons and pads.
...you realize there are literally dozens of forms of skin cancer, right? Skin cancer that's caught early and only requires "a little laser that burns off right there in the doctor's office" and doesn't spread and only requires one session to fix is the absolute dream scenario. And I'm glad it was yours and all, but…
Did it feel good physically or emotionally?
There isn't a difference. Stereotypes suck. I think you missed the part where I was saying that I'm simply explaining why I think people draw the distinction. (As I said: "I'm not saying any of that is right or wrong. I just think it summarizes the distinction most people make.") I'm not issuing a ruling ex…
I'm curious to know where those shoppers go when you make their meal plans. Wal-Mart controls a quarter of the American food market, reaching about 75% in economically-distressed areas. In my local Wal-Mart — which is where virtually everyone I know on food stamps or a tight budget shops because it's the only…
I am fat and have skin cancer. Here's the difference as I see it:
I should amend this. I get that tanning is an addiction for some. When I say "tanning addict," I don't mean those addicted in the clinical sense. I mean those who just have no sense about it and keep overdoing it of their own volition, even knowing all the risks. I don't know what else to call them, and…
There is so much truth to this. Even basal cell carcinomas and some of the smaller sarcomas aren't exactly the easiest things to treat, and when they remove spots, they tend to just keep coming back. And melanoma? My grandmother suffered to death about two weeks after diagnosis. Skin cancer's a total bastard.
Dear tanning addicts,
Lawrence O'Donnell loves him some sassy, mouthy broads. And I say "sassy, mouthy broads" as one of the highest compliments one can give.

I'm bummed he didn't marry an American. We could have had Queen Amber Destiny Katniss Nevaeh or King Wayne Bubba Jeremitrius McCheese.
The tradition for Windsor royals is to use a grandmother's name for a middle name only. Most Brits expect Diana to be a middle name, and they seem fine with that. They're Brits — tradition trumps sentimentality.
It's the building that, somewhere around 2006-ish, had some admin offices and a dark lounge area with really tacky wood paneling. I don't think that helps. :(
My favorite, spotted at Smith College several years back:
Routine Google Image Search for "helpless babies left alone."
There are so many different kinds of parishes. I have friends who go on divestment protests and interfaith conferences and volunteer at needle exchanges with their parishes, and I have other friends who just hear the mustard seed parable every week and maybe once in a while throw red paint on a clinic. I feel like…
Like Robin Thicke, that is a bland white bread product made appetizing only through a liberal sprinkling of higher-quality chocolate.
