I can’t disagree harder with this. At the risk of making a straw-man argument, the complaint here is that the relationship is shallow, and you can’t get a happy ending, which is what you really want but...that is largely the point. This is a game world where the most in-depth relationship are the ones you form over a

The business model for these shovelware companies is to get enough people to say: “that’s cheap, I’ll give it a go or “that’s cheap, it might amuse the kids to justify the minimal development costs. They reuse code and assets between games, so they can spam them out quickly.

Worse? Revenge and Paradise are near Peak! I’d say Burnout 3 is peak though.

>New Burnout game

Not sure you can call it fanfiction when the company that owns the story is the one telling it.

Nope. stop right there. I won’t let you get away with dan slander.

The 1 and only reliable accusation he’s ever received was from a teenager who texted him, he responded with something like “thanks for being a fan” and he had no further contact until she was 18+, they banged, and he ghosted her.

If that makes someone

I don’t have OCD, just regular old boring social anxiety, but I loved this game!! One of those horror experiences that isn’t TOO scary in the moment but really sticks with you for awhile afterwards because of the strong writing and interesting characters.

I was as ungreyed member here for years, then i said something critical of an article (believe it was one of kenneth shepards) and I suddenly ended up back in the greys with no explanation.

Just wanted to say thanks to the Kotaku comments section for this chuckle.

Cool. I’ve been passively exposed to a few clips of the show because of the hype and I’ve been tempted but still standoffish because of my experiences with the game. I’m not really a series guy, so I’ve not really asked friends and family who are about the show. Would rather ask gaming folk in a similar boat to me, so

While I am loathe to defend CDPR, this is a stupid thing to get mad about. Expansions for major games used to cost 30-40 bucks. Taking inflation into account this is a good deal.

For those who don’t know, the “grape quality” thing is an in-joke referencing Yoshida’s other game, Final Fantasy XIV. When the Endwalker expansion launched in 2021, there was a vineyard in one of the starting areas with a bug in the grape models. They were supposed to have a sliding poly resolution based on distance

Ratchet & Clank has quietly become one of my favorite series over the past decade. I barely paid attention to them when the series first started, but man if I don’t ever love them now.

It’s weird that this happened now and not 10 years ago at the height of Rovio’s success
