I see what you're saying, but I had almost the opposite reaction when I recently revisited Sunshine after a long time. The worlds themselves are pretty great (and large) but a ton of it feels incredibly recycled within itself. For example, every world has the generic/easy "Chase down the Shadow Mario and spray him

Erm, did you even read the actual linked article? The beauty of it is that the localization team put a bunch of thought and tried to get it as close to its original developer's intent while still making it familiar to Western audiences, and by the explanation it seems that they did a great job.

I'd personally recommend MM2/3/9 (Best of the classic series by far to get a taste of Mega Man's awesome beginnings) and Mega Man X for the more refined, complex, and just fleshed out platformer. Mega Man X is probably my favorite 2D sidescroller ever, and I actually never played it as a kid but first this year at the

I don't want to hate for no reason, but I was legitimately confused and had to reread the sentence with "Natch" in it several times, then gave up until I saw that it was supposed to be short for "Naturally." The difference between that and next-gen, is that next-gen has a hyphen indicating that it's paired up with a

Yup, I believe he went to go fondle your sweaters Kirk.

These started out as pretty amusing and clever, but as I scrolled down the list it got progressively more disturbing/creepy. Particularly the one with the nail penetrating the brain, I mean why?!

You should check out a rom hack called Liquid Crystal. It uses Fire Red's engine and is a remake of Gold and Silver, but it incorporates the Physical / Special split from gen 4 and it adds a TON of stuff to the Kanto part of the game, fleshing it out and it's more difficult (Which imo makes it more fun) and there's

I was really hoping to hear the TV's side of the PS4 starting up, PS1 had that electric intro, PS2 was shorter, and PS3 had that orchestral one, I'm curious about what PS4 will have.

IIRC Snake has accelerated aging so it's possible that even though he'd be technically 12, he could be a bit older. Fox Die just sped up the accelerated aging.

Well there's the problem, the game doesn't kick into full gear until at least 10 hours in when you have control of 3 characters controlling 9 total monsters. Up until then as many others have pointed out it's easing you into it but it's far more simple.

Yup! Plus, the demo was most likely on the easiest setting. Demo booths are all about showing off the game to you within 15 minutes, and with a normal average difficulty some people get excluded and put off. I know this game won't be as difficult as Dark Souls, but I definitely think it'll be harder than what we've

I feel like it's mostly for COD players who just wanna play some of the multiplayer, and when they get a new console then they'll upgrade since they can still enjoy the multiplayer just as much. I personally would just wanna start Watch Dogs on PS4, but that's just me.

Yeah it happens to me all the time, just was in the right time at the right place to post it :S

Now playing

I was pretty excited for this when I saw it, but what got me insanely hyped was when I heard what I hope is the main theme for this game. I just... I have no words to describe how awesome it is :S

I couldn't agree more, I absolutely loved RE6 and don't understand the hate. The controls were perfect (Seriously, playing Mercenaries mode feels badass and fun) it was so atmospheric in the Leon parts, the plot was good for a RE game as were the characters, and I only had a few issues with Chris and Jakes campaign.

Holy crap, I love Alan Wake! Glad to see it get some love, did you get a chance to play American Nightmare? I still haven't for some reason, but I look forward to it

You... hate Smash Bros??

I loved the PSP but it was the same deal with it. I shelled out $100 for a 1GB MS Pro Duo memory stick at target *shrugs*
