hahahaha, I love it.
hahahaha, I love it.
It looks downright amazing. I'm replaying MGS3 (already replayed MGS2 on PS2 a few months back) and it rivals current games in terms of its art style, and the character models and animations look excellent. The backgrounds are a bit less polished, but still look very good.
Hahaha, congrats. I too noticed that the first half of the codes were the same, and I had like 3 tabs open. Congrats man, make sure you play the hell out of it for all of us trying to get the game. :3
Uh yes, you might be. 3D on the 3DS is really great if the game was designed for it.
I think that's just the result of the camera taking an indirect representation of what the PSP screen really looks like. But just think, if the PSP screen really looks better in real life, than just think how nice that OLED screen must look in real life. C:
Hearted. I second this! If this goes through I so want this to happen :D
This is true, but it's safer not only for you but everyone around you while using the device for you to use the sleeve. :P
Trust me, you're not missing much. :S
Yeah, the sword slashing always implied that it would be an action adventure game, and Platinum Games is an amazing studio to get on the game. If anyone was expecting a traditional MGS game then I honestly don't know what info they were getting.
How was Nier? I was super intrigued by the story, but the gameplay just wasn't fun to me at all. I even got a decent amount through the game (I remember stopping at the town where everyone was speaking a foreign language). I loved the music, the story, but really didn't have fun with what I thought was repetitive and…
Very very well said! You are one of my favorite commentors on this site, and that was a very insightful post. I do hope that the hate around here goes down a bit, for the sake of the site.
MVC2 is worth it for that extremely low price, but as someone who also wanted to get into MVC, MVC2 is WAY more different than MVC3. I prefer MVC3, they feel like entirely different games to me, and even though I feel like I'm pretty great in MVC3 (playing online and all) almost none of that experience translates to…
I don't think Zelda needs voice acting, a lot of games just seem more natural without it. (Okami, Banjo Kazooie, etc) For the record, I don't think it's "the best game of all time" but that's not all due to technical limitations.
I think it was EA's fault more than Bioware's, hopefully they'll redeem it with ME3
This, it's really all context. I'm totally cool with someone having one of their favorite anime/video game/movie characters as an avatar on Kotaku, but it just seems a bit strange when it's on Facebook, where usually the content is more centered around yourself.
Hmm, it's funny that you bring up fighting games. Yes, the game is pretty much an exact port of the console games, but controls are one of the biggest aspects of a fighting game. The four button and shoulder button controls for SF are awkward as hell, and the touch screen thing is just gimmicky. Fighting games are…
It wasn't so much the recoil for me, but the pull when you'd be aiming and all of a sudden the "aim assist" will kick in and when your reticle is over an enemy, it grinds to a halt. I do agree that it makes the game harder, but in a way that almost seems cheap. It's like it's trying to help you but it just makes…
This literally makes the shooting segments in the game completely unenjoyable in the game for me. D= I'm at CH8, and all the shooting sections thus far have been terrible, with me either completely missing the enemy in trying to aim at them or taking far too long just to try to get a good shot on them.
Same, GTAIV is by far my favorite. Though I came into the game not expecting crazy stunts, and a whole lot of crazy stuff. What I got was a game with a fantastic storyline, really fun shooting/driving gameplay, and an immense world to explore.
